The Cosy Rooms at Hotel 1635 are intimate boutique hideaways, perfect for a short city trip or a solo stay. Housed in our 16th and 17th-century townhouse, these rooms carry the spirit of Haarlem’s Golden Age — once home to wealthy merchants and adorned with classicist details by Pieter Post.
Each room is smartly designed, featuring a luxury Auping boxspring (160×210 cm) that guarantees a restful night’s sleep, and thoughtful touches that blend historic charm with modern comfort. Most rooms are accessible by elevator, though some may include a short staircase.
Though smaller in size, the Cosy Rooms feel warm and welcoming. Some offer views of Haarlem’s atmospheric old streets. The modern bathrooms, with a walk-in shower, seperate bath and Rituals toiletries, complete the experience.
